All in How to Use a Monster
While World Map is the most helpful tool for the DM to design their overarching sandbox campaign, Region Maps is one of the most valuable tools for the player to experience your story in your Sandbox Campaigns. Regional Maps entice the players to go to different plot hooks and be intrigued by what the region offers. For the DM, it's also a valuable tool for planning your quests and having a player progression that does not go out of hand with too many choices for your players but also provides the freedom to explore your sandbox campaign organically.
Zombies are one of the most iconic monstrous creatures not only in D&D and fantasy. And over the years of their existence, we saw different variations of zombies in movies and TV. However, today we will be looking at the D&D depiction of zombies and how to use them in our encounters.
Ghouls are an iconic lower-tier monster with their razor-sharp teeth and jagged claws, ghouls roam the night in packs, driven by an insatiable hunger for humanoid flesh. And today, we will try to learn how to use Ghouls in our combat encounters.
Goblins are one of the most Iconic fantasy creatures. In Dungeons and Dragons, Dungeon Masters tend to use Goblins more for lower-level play. Sometimes, they even overuse them by making dull encounters for the party to level up. They are small, fragile, and any adventuring party could squash them in their way. But as a representative of the Dungeon Goblin here, I cannot have this. Killing and using Goblins just for low-level encounters must stop today. Goblin lives matter and Goblins must prevail, and today we will be looking at ways to creatively use them in our combat encounters.
Babau is one of my favorite creatures to use in encounters because of the mechanics that being posses. He is fast, possesses a significant action of Weakening Gaze, which lets your PC's that concentrating on the strength builds feel a bit less confident in their abilities and not only that, they have spells and multi-attack in range and out of range. So okay, what can we do to make an interaction with Babau stand out in your game?
